Why is The Shores of Jupiter so popular?

The Shores of Jupiter has been one of our most popular neighborhoods for many years.  There are many reasons it is continually among the most sought after areas for home buyers, particularly those with families.

Homes for sale in The Shores of Jupiter

Located on the northern side of Jupiter, The Shores provides easy access to both I-95 and the Florida Turnpike making it very convenient for commuters.

For years, many American Airlines pilots working out of Miami lived in here for this very reason.  And although The Shores has about 600 homes, in the back are several more gated communities with far fewer homes.  These are Cypress Cove, Loxahatchee Estates, The Preserve, North Fork and Southwood.

Homes for sale in The Shores might be located on lakes, of which there are several, or on preserve areas. These lakes give the area a spacious and relaxed feel and are open to canoes and other non-motorized vessels, like paddle boards.  All of the streets are lined with mature oaks which give the neighborhood a bit of cool, shady relief during the hot summers.

Most of the homes here are 3/2 floor plans, many with pools.  The homes were built in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.  Since these homes are in high demand, right now there are just 8 on the market priced from near $ 400,000 to around $ 550,000.  There are also 8 homes under contract with 4 of these on the market a week or less.
