RICKIE FOWLER LISTS HOME ON THE LOXAHATCHEE RIVER
September 25, 2016 | Richard Sites
Rickie Fowler is well known on the PGA Tour and as a local Jupiter celebrity. He is spotted all over town from the local breakfast house, to a smoothie shop and even in the barber shop. In 2010, he paid $1.6 for a house on the Loxahatchee River. He has now listed it for $2.8 million.

The house is a typical, Florida ranch style built in 1992. While it has been upgraded with a contemporary decor, the real attraction is the 128 feet of river frontage. He has a “wide view” of the river and looks east to Tequesta. Across the river, John C. Maxwell just paid over $5 million for a home.
After Fowler moved in, traffic in the small community increased to the point that they had to install gates to keep spectators out. His house also has a private gate.
Other PGA Tour players in the area include Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, Tiger Woods and Steve Marino. Johnson is very busy in the luxury real estate market and has his Toll Brothers home on the market.
Prices continue to climb for riverfront properties as the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale crowd makes Jupiter a destination city. Yesterday, a home was listed at a staggering $14.2 million or over $1,300 per foot.
