The Honda Classic
Palm Beach Gardens is home to The Honda Classic. Once located in Mirasol, the PGA Tour event moved across PGA Boulevard several years ago to PGA National where it is played on The Champion course.
The field of players is comprised of many local residents including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler and Keegan Bradley.
With our ideal weather and number of local courses, many pros call this area home.
Jack Nicklaus was the first big name player to arrive decades ago and his influence is felt on the courses, at local charities and in the course design itself.
Several years ago, he added the famous “Bear Trap”, a treacherous group of three holes where the lead can, and does, change hands just before the 18th hole.
You can visit the Official PGA Tour website for the event using this link: The Honda Classic.
Also popular in Palm Beach Gardens is the WCI Community of Evergrene with 963 residences. An Audubon Gold designated community, there are lakes, natural preserves and a waterfront clubhouse but no golf course. You can see all the current homes for sale in Evergrene using this link.
