OLD PORT COVE: Waterfront Condos in North Palm Beach
May 24, 2015 | Richard Sites
The Village of North Palm Beach sits just east of Palm Beach Gardens and just south of Juno Beach. One of the more dominant features of the landscape are the towers of condos in Old Port Cove.
The luxury complex is made up of 9 individual communities with 1,053 total condos, most of which include wrap-around balconies and a variety of interior upgrades. Some are modest while those on higher floors have ocean views and the prices can run into the low several million.
Right now there are 30 listings with an average price in the mid-$400,000’s. Other amenities include a 2-mile jogging trail, entertainment facilities, fitness center, game room, hot tub, sauna, swimming pool and a 24-hour doorman as well as manned gate house.
There is a deep water marina at Old Port Cove with ocean access and space for the largest yacht, in fact, enough space for Tiger Woods’ yacht which is where he docks it. (Update, the yacht has been moved).
Right now, there are 30 units on the market priced from $ 149,000 to $ 2.3 million. No matter what price range is right for you there are always beautiful breezes blowing in from the ocean and tremendous water views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic.
The community sits near Lost Tree Village, The Benjamin School, MacArthur Beach State Park and the newest development of condos, Water Club by Kolter. Across the Intracoastal Waterway sits Singer Island.
The residents are mostly retirees or single folks since they are free of maintenance worries and there is a gated guardhouse.
