Jupiter Island Docks for Sale : $550,000 & $595,000
November 27, 2015 | Richard Sites
Owning a yacht is one thing. Having the space to keep it is another. Much of our dock space in Northern Palm Beach County was older and when the hurricanes of 2004-2005 came through, many were destroyed. This made the surviving docks much more valuable.
Dock slips are considered condominiums and have Parcel Control Numbers listed with the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser. This means you actually own the ground under the water.
Two slips are currently listed for sale in the JIB Club Marina on Jupiter Island, where Alan Jackson used to keep his boat. One is listed at $550,000, the other at $595,000. These big slips are capable of holding boats to 70 feet.
If these spots are a little rich for you, there are 2 slips available in Jonathan’s Landing: One at $115,000, the other at $117,500. These slips are a little further from the ocean and located behind Casseekey Island. You would have about a 10 minute cruise northward in the Intracoastal to access the ocean through the Jupiter Inlet.
And while Jupiter Yacht Club has slips in the marina, there are none currently listed for sale in the MLS.
