Jupiter homes: 42 new listings over the weekend
January 18, 2016 | Richard Sites
The real estate market in Jupiter and Tequesta was busy over the weekend as 42 new listings came on the market. This pushes the total number of and Tequesta to 851.
The median price is now $529,000 while the average is $987,870. This works out to $236 per foot for the median and $306 for the average. This is still optimistic since recent sales are just under $200 foot.
The highest priced listing is still the 50 acre compound in Ranch Colony which is listed just under $20 million.
Prices in this area are steadily moving up since all the new homes going up in developments like Sonoma Isles and Alton start in the mid-$600,000’s and go up to over $1 million.
Of course, the quality of life has not changed. The beaches are a short drive from anywhere in this area. The small and uncrowded airport is about 15 minutes away. The schools are good and the crime rate is very low.
