Jupiter Country Club by Toll Brothers, west of Jupiter
May 26, 2015 | Richard Sites
Jupiter Country Club is a Toll Brothers community on the west side of the Town of Jupiter. On a site where cattle recently grazed, single family estate homes and carriage homes are wrapped tightly around a Greg Norman Signature golf course.
In typical Toll fashion, the community was started with a stately, Tuscan style entrance with a manned guardhouse and main boulevard leading to the various neighborhoods. Frenchman’s Reserve, another Toll Brothers community in nearby Palm Beach Gardens was constructed in this same fashion.
There is a heavy use of stone in all common area buildings although the homes are typical, Mediterranean influenced design. The spectacular fountain entrance (seen above) displays this use of stone.
The location is excellent since it is near both the Florida Turnpike and I-95 which both have exits here. This is the only place in Palm Beach County where the exits are side by side which makes commuting by either one easy.
Homes here are either the classic, Mediterranean inspired look in the estate homes above or the carriage house version with 4 residences per unit seen below.
One interesting design feature of the community is the fact that 15 of the golf course holes are on the south side of Hwy. 706 (Indiantown Road) then you pass through a tunnel under the road to reach the other 3 holes and the clubhouse.
Without a host of luxury amenities to entice buyers Toll Brothers has offered deals on the memberships here, some of which were free. And they nearly always have a big Sales Event going on.
