Jupiter Inlet Colony, A Special Spot on Jupiter Island
May 23, 2017 | Richard Sites
Jupiter Inlet Colony is a special enclave of homes on the southern tip of Jupiter Island. Waterfront homes are available overlooking either the Intracoastal Waterway, the Jupiter Inlet or the sparkling Atlantic. There are also homes available off the water.
Jupiter Inlet Colony was voted the Safest Town in Florida by the FDLE and the FBI. With only one entrance, which is guarded by the police station, access is safe.
JIC has 3 shaded walk-over pathways to the ocean allowing residents access to the ocean and beach. Fisherman will love fishing along the beach or from the north jetty where snook are the specialty. Although this is a public beach, there is no parking so there are hardly ever any visitors to the ocean except JIC residents.
There are less than 300 homes in JIC but they provide residents with one of the finest and most exclusive lifestyles in south Florida.
There is also an optional beach club right on the Jupiter Inlet with safe swimming and a clubhouse for gatherings. But unlike clubs like Admirals Cove, there is no golf course, tennis or spa.
