Intracoastal Waterfront Properties Offer Unique Locations
July 30, 2015 | Richard Sites
Waterfront properties abound in this area. But those located along the Intracoastal waterway offer unique locations. Homes in Admirals Cove, or other luxury clubs like Jonathan’s Landing or Frenchman’s Creek, offer similar sites within the community. But with these Intracoastal properties each one is different and unique. I wrote about one great example in a previous post.
Homes along Federal Highway (U.S. 1) north of Tequesta, like the one above, are perched on high sand bluffs overlooking Jupiter Island. They catch the SE breeze blowing in off the ocean and the view is panoramic. The home pictures above was priced at $4 million when it was on the market.
Other homes closer to Jupiter and Juno are not as high in elevation but offer some very large lots, many with majestic, live oaks.
Each home and its location is different from all the others, but the price you should expect to pay is around $650 per square foot. Right now the inventory is low, like it is everywhere, and there are only about a dozen of these special homes on the market.
