Ian Baker-Finch Lists His Old Palm Home for Sale
May 17, 2016 | Richard Sites
Retired professional golfer Ian Baker-Finch has listed his home in Old Palm Golf Club and now joins Brad Faxon and Lee Westwood in moving elsewhere. His home is listed at $1,995,000, below Faxon’s asking price and way below Westwood’s price of nearly $11,000,000.
The 650 acre club now has 35 homes for sale including 8 on Tillinghast Circle, perhaps the most exclusive and expensive street within the community. It is also one of the only remaining clubs where you can still get a new home without having to take on the task of building your own. There are many exquisite new homes offered in Old Palm.
Baker-Finch’s home is listed at $517 per square foot whereas Westwood is asking over $1,100 per foot.
Old Palm is an exclusive golf club but lacks waterfront access found in clubs like Admirals Cove or Frenchman’s Creek. Other exclusive golf clubs would be Trump National Jupiter, The Bear’s Club and The Medalist.
If you are considering a home in one of these clubs, it might make sense to have a conversation about your wants, needs and desires before looking at any homes. For personal and professional service, contact me directly when you are ready at 561-762-4073.
