Dustin Johnson: Active in the Luxury, Waterfront Market Here
October 23, 2015 | Richard Sites
Dustin Johnson, PGA Tour pro, has been active in the local market for luxury, waterfront homes. Johnson joins other golf notables like Rickie Fowler, Luke Donald, Rory McIlroy and Keegan Bradley who call this area home. The big draw, in addition to our weather, was the expansion of the Honda Classic into the status of mini-major tour event. This really happened when Tiger Woods, a Jupiter Island resident, decided to play in the event.
While the other pros have purchased homes and settled into the coastal Florida lifestyle, Johnson has been busy buying and selling in the ultra luxury class of waterfront properties by dealing in Loxahatchee river homes and those along the Intracoastal Waterway.
He also sold a home on prestigious Pennock Point with 101 feet of waterfront and expansive river views for $6.25 million or $795 per square foot. His Toll Brothers home on the Intracoastal is listed for sale near $4 million and is almost directly across the ICW from Rory McIlroy’s new home. He recently purchased another Intracoastal property, with private island, near the community of Admirals Cove for near $5 million or $602 per square foot.
If you are looking for a luxury, waterfront property in this area, let me show you the best locations and why anyone who can live in or near Jupiter…does! Unlike most agents I have lived here 25 years and know the market inside and out.
