New homes are going up everywhere with prices starting in the mid-$500,000’s and going up to around a million. Right now, there are over 800 homes for sale in Jupiter and Tequesta so there is something at every price point and with every level of amenity you might desire.

Jupiter is located between the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway and the natural preserve areas like Cypress Creek on the west.  And to the north near Tequesta, Jonathan Dickinson State Park provides another natural buffer. This means development here is very limited and we will never see the congestion of Boca Raton or Miami.

Quality of Life

Jupiter offers one of the finest lifestyles available anywhere in Southeast Florida.  The Jupiter Medical Center provides high quality care with little or no wait times.  We have a library, a post office and the Town of Jupiter Community Center where cultural events are held.  The newly opened Riverwalk along the Intracoastal offers a waterfront venue for Sunday morning’s Green Market and frequent musical events.  Further north along the water, Harbourside hosts outdoor dining, shopping and concerts in the evening on weekends.

Of course, the beach is our central feature.  Starting at the Jupiter Inlet and heading north or south you will find miles of free beaches with parking along the ocean and much of the beach is dog friendly and you will always find dogs taking their masters to the ocean.  Plentiful walkovers provide easy access from Carlin Park south to the Juno Beach Pier.  At the Juno Beach Pier you will find great surfing and plenty of good fishing with snook, mackerel and pompano frequently caught.  North of the inlet Coral Cove Park on Jupiter Island is the largest public area on the ocean and along the Intracoastal Waterway you can park and swim, snorkel or paddle board in the tranquil water.

Outdoor festivals like Arti Gras and Art By The Sea in the spring host artists and craftsmen and here residents can stroll and enjoy our fabulous spring weather.  In addition, the museums and galleries in Palm Beach and West Palm, as well as the shops on Antique Row, are just 15 minutes to the south.

Both the Florida Turnpike and I-95 have side-by-side exits here, the only place in Palm Beach County with this arrangement, so commuting north or south is a snap.  The Palm Beach International Airport offers international flights with very short lines and no parking problems.  If you have a private plane, the North County airport is just 15 minutes to the west.

Jupiter is surrounded by natural preserve areas spanning thousands of acres from those preserves along the ocean with convenient boardwalks to the more rugged and rustic parks like Riverbend and the Corbett Management area.  The headwaters of the Loxahatchee River, a Federally designated Wild & Scenic River, are in Riverbend where you can kayak or canoe. Further west, hunting is allowed for deer, turkeys and hogs.  Lake Okeechobee is about 30 minutes away and offers fresh water fishing and airboating.
