Palms are a part of the South Florida lifestyle.  Palms, more than any other plant, typify the tropical setting.  I have several varieties growing in my yard including 3 towering coconut palms loaded with coconuts. Palms, since they are tropical trees, also survive hurricanes better than most trees.  Other native trees, like live oaks, survive hurricanes well, especially if they have been trimmed some to thin them out. I love palms, but not everyone sees it the same as I do.

Alton homes by Kolter is a massive community going up on the border between Palm Beach Gardens and Abacoa. Alton will include homes, retail space and recreational facilities. Sales of Alton homes have been brisk so far with more than 80 homes sold with some homes closing above $1.5 million.

Loxahatchee River Home Displays Latest Architectural Style

New homes are going up everywhere around Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens.  Massive projects like Alton, by Kolter, are bringing thousands of new residents to the area.  Even small parcels are being developed, like Shores Pointe, where 31 homes are going up. DiVosta is building close to 300 lakefront homes at Sonoma Isles west of the Town of Jupiter.  So you have infinite possibilities around here right now with prices starting in the mid-$600,000’s.  So, what is the problem?
