Brad Faxon lists Old Palm home for $2.595 million
May 10, 2016 | Richard Sites
PGA Tour pro Brad Faxon and his wife have listed their home in Old Palm Golf Club. Old Palm is one of the elite, golf clubs in the area like The Medalist and Seminole.
Once, while living in Gainesville, I watched Brad play when he was a college student and thought he was very talented.
His house in Old Palm was built in 2015 and the current listing is at $514.57 per square foot. This is right in line with other luxury clubs in the area like Admirals Cove. The home is a little over 5,000 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths.
Brad and PGA Tour player and Masters runner up Lee Westwood, are among the many golf pros who call this area home. Westwood currently has his 9,509 foot, Old Palm home on the market near $11 million. It is the 2nd highest priced listing in the community.
Of course, membership in the club is mandatory and will run you $175,000.
Old Palm is Ray Floyd’s legacy golf course and has an imaginative, 19th hole between the 18th green and the clubhouse. This short par-3 is where bets can be settled and where Jupiter resident Rickie Fowler recently shot a hole in one with a borrowed club to earn $1 million for Ernie Ells autism foundation.
