ALTON HOMES BY KOLTER: SALES ARE BRISK SO FAR
December 6, 2016 | Richard Sites
Alton homes by Kolter is a massive community going up on the border between Palm Beach Gardens and Abacoa. Alton will include homes, retail space and recreational facilities.
Sales of Alton homes have been brisk so far with more than 80 homes sold with some homes closing above $1.5 million.
The clubhouse is under construction with completion scheduled for 12 months. Final approvals are in place for the Alton Towne Center with completion projected for end of 2017-beginning of 2018.
According to Kolter, new owners have moved here from BallenIsles, Frenchman’s, Landmark, Rialto, Paloma, Mallory Creek, Two City Plaza, and the list goes on.
The architectural style is distinctly different from past developments. Most of the other large developments featured a Mediterranean or Tuscany inspired design.
Today’s styles are more “West Indies” with clean lines and exclusive of ornamentation. Some home designs are a throwback to a mid-century architectural style popular in Miami Beach.
Home prices start at $459,900 for a townhouse and $562,900 for single family homes.
Abacoa, just across Donald Ross Road, is a similar concept of live, work, play without leaving the community. Homes in Abacoa are nestled in 18 distinct communities with pricing lower than homes in Alton.
