Admirals Cove Marina: Yachts Begin to Arrive
October 21, 2015 | Richard Sites
The Admirals Cove Marina is close to being completely renovated. The original format, in place since the marina opened, was home to modest yachts with space for mega-yachts limited to just a few spaces. Last year a major renovation was begun which is nearly complete and will be open just in time for the season which starts November 1.
With a small section of the marina now open, yachts have begun to show up. Next month, the annual migration of yachts will come down from the north and winter in the safe and protected marina. Others will continue south to Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale.
Admirals Cove is Jupiter’s premier waterfront community. Located on the Intracoastal Waterway south of Jonathan’s Landing, nearly 900 homes line the golf courses and waterways. Waterfront properties have ocean access by heading north to the Jupiter Inlet, about 10 minutes away, and from there out through the Inlet to the Atlantic and the Bahamas.
This morning, the Club hosted local Realtors to bring them up to speed on all the changes at the Club since last year. Several hundred agents showed up since an invite to such a Platinum club is not usually turned down and the food is out of this world.
Right now there are about 50 homes for sale in Admirals Cove from around $500,000 to near $9 million. You can see them all using this link: Admirals Cove homes for sale.
