ADMIRALS COVE HOMES: NETJETS FOUNDER DROPS PRICE BY $1.5 MILLION
December 4, 2016 | Richard Sites
NetJets founder Richard Santulli has lowered the price on his Admirals Cove home by $1.5 million from $10 million to $8.5 million. The home, built by Celine Dion at a reported $22 million, is located at an ideal waterfront location on Eagle Drive.
The home had been the highest priced one in Admirals and has been on the market before. But, homes at this price point seem to be priced above what the current market will bear.
Other Admirals Cove Homes For Sale
Another famous home, designed by noted architect David Israel and located directly on the Intracoastal, also failed to sell when priced near $9 million. That home is now off the market.
Over on Schooner Lane, another home priced at $6.5 million, has been on the market 618 days. And next door, a home priced near $8 million has been on the market over 6 months. These 2 homes have the limiting feature of a fixed bridge between them and the ocean.
In the last year, 53 homes have sold in Admirals with 2 sales above $7 million. The most expensive home sold in the last year at $7.4 million is now back on the market at $9.5 million.
Right now, there are 59 homes for sale in Admirals Cove. Of course, like all luxury county clubs except Jonathan’s Landing, club membership is mandatory. Most luxury club memberships will run you well over $100,000 unless you find a home that has a lower level of membership attached to it. Clubs will allow you to upgrade your membership but not downgrade.
