Location, Location, Location We have all heard the saying about real estate, “Location, location, location”. This is certainly true when it comes to getting a good price. It’s just that some locations are just incredible. On the island of Palm Beach, the highest prices are commanded by those homes directly on the ocean along Ocean Boulevard.
Jupiter Island is one of the wealthiest areas in the country. But the properties are so large and so unusual that they sometimes stay on the market for years before they sell. Of course, like all sellers, when homes don’t sell reducing the price is the most typical strategy to attract buyers. But I have always believed that imagination can play an important role in getting a property sold.
New homes are going up everywhere around here so there is a battle for buyers. One of the most interesting contests is going on between Sonoma Isles and Jupiter Country Club. This is happening because of the strange location the 2 developments share.
In residential real estate there is something used by agents called “The Hot Sheet”. Basically this is a morning update or recap of what happened overnight. Agents use this to look for new listings, price changes and expired listings. The hot sheet is a good barometer of where the market is heading.
